JHB Showroom launch

Tiletoria Johannesburg celebrated the launch of its showroom in April with a function for clients including architects, designers, specifiers, property developers, builders, and construction companies.

The launch was aimed at introducing current and prospective clients to Tiletoria’s full product range which encompasses tiles, natural stone, wooden laminated flooring, baths, vanities, basins, taps and the like.

Twilight Team Run

The Twilight Team Run is one of the most anticipated annual events on the Mother City~snglQuote~s events calendar. On 7th of December 2010 the Community Chest of the Western Cape hosted its 28th Twilight Team Run. Teams and individuals crawled, walked and ran through the streets of Cape Town’s CBD wearing the craziest and the most creative costumes. 

Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge

Everyone’s Race and that included our Tiletoria team!

This year the Momentum 94.7 was even bigger and better, with lots of entertainment along the route and great celebrations including DJing by various 94.7 DJ’s at the finish line at Waterfall Country Estate.

Supporters set up their deckchairs and fired up their skottel braais to cheer on the Tiletoria cyclists. It was a great day out for the whole family and some were lucky enough to see celebs like Liezl Van Der Westhuizen, Francios Pienaar, Loyiso Bala, Joel Stransky, Karolina Skye, Henre Pretorius and various ex-Springbok players. Cyclists were dressed up as cows and raisied money for CHOC which raises money for children with cancer and gave them a big cheer too.

Once again Tiletoria stuck to its motto...”We lead others follow” but the reality for us is that it’s the participating that counts so a big thanks to all our supporters!!

Cape Town November Yard Sale!

The Tiletoria yard sale was once a huge success! Crowds braved the cold weather to enjoy huge discounts on a variety of quality products! Deon Bing from KFM was once again in top form providing entertainment at its best. The braais were fired up and everyone got to enjoy a free boerewors roll, music and so much more!  

Tiletoria at the Discovery Big Walk!

Early morning on Sunday the 14^th November saw the Tiletoria ladies join 35 000 others to participate in the Discovery Big Walk and our walkers were raising money in aid of the Breast Cancer Foundation. Conditions were blustery in the early morning but cleared up to become a bright and sunny day. Distances ranged from 5-80km’s and it was a great fun day out that we will definitely be doing again next year.

Tiletoria West Coast Express Cycling Race 2010

A sunny Sunday the 24^thof October saw close to 1400 cyclists depart from Sunningdale Sports Club to participate in Tiletoria’s increasingly popular West Coast Express cycle race. The race has 3 distances to suit all fitness levels and billed as the flattest and fastest race on the Cape spring calendar the race appealed to both competitive speed freaks and families enjoying the spectacular backdrop alike.

With a new course and venue expectations were high and without exception the feedback has been overwhelming positive. Ernst van Wyk, South African wheelchair champion and 9 times winner of the Boston Marathon was in attendance and great prizes and a festive atmosphere resulted in many pitting it against the famed Cape Argus in terms of organisation and overall event enjoyment.

So another job well done by Tiletoria and with all proceeds from the day going to the Cape Kidney Foundation once again Tiletoria lives up to its slogan of “We lead others follow”!!!

Yard sale 16th - 17th Oct

Even bigger and better than our last Yard sale, Tiletoria pulled out all the stops with their great service and amazing discounts on a variety of quality products. Armand Aucamp was there to entertain the crowds and everyone was treated to a free boerewors roll, slamming tunes and so much more!

Tiletoria Yard Sale

This years yard sale was the most successful ever in Tiletoria’s history with 30 000m² of stock sold!  Events on the day included entertainment by DJ Deon Bing from KFM, more than R15 000 worth of spot prizes, voucher giveaways, a coffee and cool drinks bar, sizzling braais and a jumping castle to keep the kids entertained. 

Soccer Ball Giveaway to Schools

In the midst of World Cup fever, 20 under-privileged schools were the lucky recipients of brand new hand-stitched soccer balls sponsored by Tiletoria. Tiletoria’s drive to give back to the community included the following schools:

Tiletoria West Coast Express Cycling Race

Tiletoria was once again the main sponsor of the flattest race in the West, The West Coast Express cycling race in October. The main beneficiary was the Cape Kidney Association. Along with the actual race there were loads of events organised to keep the kids out of trouble and the moms entertained. The race saw 1500 participants.

In November 2008, Tiletoria hosted a gala event in its warehouse in Paarden Eiland for architects, interior designers, master builders, tillers and professionals to launch the company~snglQuote~s new catalogue and library. The evening was a huge success and over 1500 architects and designers attended.
